Bombers Dee-ring Segundo provides significant tongue relief while maintaining even pressure over the bars and encourages the horse to take a light contact.

Horses generally find it more difficult to get their tongue over or hang onto the bit.

D-ring bits function very similarly to eggbutt bits, reducing the risk of the horse being pinched in the lips/corners of the mouth and providing a more stable feel against the side of the face. It also prevents the bit from being pulled through the mouth. The release is somewhat slower and a little poll pressure is added.

The bit is made of sweet iron and will lose its color over time and become a bit rusty. Be careful to dry the bit thoroughly after each use to prevent excessive rust and roughness.
