KEP Italia is of the highest quality and is considered one of the safest helmets on the market. The design of KEP helmets provides a sense of style and functionality along with outstanding safety and comfort.
KEP helmets come in two different outer shell sizes, Medium or Large. The size is adjusted by attaching an inner pad. The Medium shell fits inner pads 51–58 and the Large shell fits inner pads 59–62.
The inner pads are available in two different versions depending on head shape, oval or round. The oval pad is slightly more padded on the sides than the round one to ensure the helmet sits securely on the head. The size may feel 1–2 sizes smaller with the oval pad.
The fit of the helmet is very important for both comfort and optimal protection. To find your size, measure the circumference of your head above the ears to the middle of the forehead with a measuring tape. Follow this link to go to the pads.

- KEP helmets are continuously tested; out of every 1000 helmets produced by KEP, ten are randomly tested at the British Standards Institute, ensuring quality and safety. KEP is the only helmet in the world with five different safety certificates. KEP helmets are continuously tested and have the certificates: CE EN 1384 + VG1, SEI/ASTM: F1163, BS EN 1384:2012 KITE MARK, IC MARK 1384:2012, PAS 015:2011. After the EU's removal of certificate EN1384, all KEP helmets immediately received the temporary certificate EN1384 + VG1 and are thus still approved worldwide!
- Ventilation: The patented "Air Control System" developed by KEP allows you to regulate the ventilation in the helmet, ensuring it always feels comfortable and cool.
- Weight: The lightweight material of the helmet means that a KEP helmet usually weighs only around 400 grams.
- Lining: The inner pad in the helmet is easily replaceable, which means a larger or smaller size can be created without having to buy a new helmet. The inner pad can be washed at 30 degrees and extra inner pads are easy to purchase.
- Chin strap: The helmet has a patented five-point buckle, which prevents the helmet from moving forward. The chin strap is made of anti-allergic and washable soft leather and is easy to adjust.
- Cleaning: The KEP helmet comes in a protective helmet bag and with a KEP-clean polishing cloth, which makes it easy to clean the helmet.
